One of the greatest things about America is that it is a country of greatness, a country that inspires something deep within everyone to take pride in themselves as a people. This pride in turn inspires some of the greatest and most memorable lines ever conceived by mankind, and some of the best words ever set in stone (or in metal). This is why we have decided, in the interest of preservation, to create as many incarnations of these epigraphs – thus, the American epigraph collection online. Here, we will be hosting American epigraphs from all over the country, every moment of historical and social import, and every sentiment that makes up the tapestry that is America. The American Epigraph Collection will serve as a sort of time capsule that will preserve everything that is good about America, both in the past and in the present.

Evidently, we have no epigraphs posted in the American Epigraph Collection section of this site as of yet. We are currently sorting through epigraphs from all over America, trying to find epigraphs that deserve to be included in the American Epigraph Collection (the ones on monuments are a given, though). If you know any epigraphs which you think deserve to be part of the American Epigraph Collection, please send them – with a photo, if possible – to us.
